Welcome to the Microsoft 365 Newest Updates series. Every week, we do our best to sift through the most important Message Center updates into an easy-to-digest format so you’re always up-to-date.

With that out of the way, let’s get started:

Edit SharePoint Pages from within Microsoft Teams

Associated Roadmap ID: 82969

Users will soon be able to edit modern SharePoint pages including news posts from Teams. This will start rolling out now and should be completed by mid-June. Users who are highly active on Teams edit pages in SharePoint without having to leave the interface.

Search images with Microsoft Search

Associated Roadmap ID: 68780

Microsoft is adding a new search vertical to Microsoft Search. With Image search, users will be able to focus their search query to only retrieve images that match their search terms. This will start rolling out in mid-June and complete around mid-July. Once complete users will find an additional vertical in the Search screen alongside documents and news.

That’s it for the updates of note this week. See you again next week for more updates and changes!
